From the Hangar Theatre's Web Site:
Tennessee Williams masterfully uncovers the frailty and beauty of the human
spirit in this American classic. Amanda, once a privileged Southern belle, struggles to survive with her two adult
children, Tom— poet and dreamer—and Laura—withdrawn and painfully shy. The play embarks on a journey through time
and memory as Tom recalls a visit from a gentleman caller for Laura and its effect on the family.
