Burn This
January 13 - 31, 1999
From the Syracuse Stage press release:
A funny, touching and most unlikely love story lies at the center of this searing romance. Anna, a fledgling choreographer, grapples with the sudden death of her roommate and mentor, a brilliant young dancer named Robbie. When Robbie's brother Pale, a crude-around-the-edges restaurateur from New Jersey, shows up to collect Robbie's things, it's more than his uncanny resemblance to his deceased brother that interests Anna. Can kindred spirits inhabit such diametrically opposed vessels? Edgy, urban, and very, very New York, Lanford Wilson's comically hip dialogue reverberates off the walls of Anna's SoHo loft as she and Pale try to find out if there's love after sex.
